Matt Minigell is a
Boston, Massachusetts-based songwriter, musician, and busker. His lyrical,
emotive brand of folk music and whispery, fingerpicked playing
style have been compared to artists such as Elliott Smith, Bright Eyes,
Ryan Adams, and Nick Drake.
Matt works steadily as a
Folk artist, touring regularly throughout the US and Canada. When he's not
on the road, Matt can frequently be found busking in the Boston subways or
working on projects in his home studio, Woeful House. His latest album, Pipe
Dreaming, is due for release on 10/10/18 via 9 Athens Music and Together

In the early Leap of Faith
period (early 90s), we did a number of shows with Strings and myself, in fact,
for a while the core trio was myself on reeds, Glynis Lomon on cello, and Craig
Schildhauer on bass. String Theory is the extended string section of the
Leap of Faith Orchestra, and the current incarnation of this early period Leap
of Faith ensemble. As well as being the string section of the orchestra,
String Theory performs and records independently. Since we rebooted the
Leap of Faith project in 2015, we have released over 10 albums of string and

jazz, Bulgarian reggae and Michael Jackson at a rock concert, shaken (not
stirred) with your local orchestra and resident street musicians. These parched
and passionate improvisers meet the music of James Merenda, exploring beyond
where dreams take you.
