Mitchel Ahern
Mitchel Ahern is a Multimedia Fiber Performance Artist. Performing and exhibiting on multiple platforms. He has performed on a variety of self-invented musical instruments such as the Crutch, the Lid, and the Electroluxopipeophone in a variety of performing ensembles such as the Invented Thing Quartet, PKD and the dadallama performance company. His printmaking practice involves hand-carving various alphabets and designs, and then using those in combination to create diatribatic textual monoprints on fabric such as dishtowels, bolts of fabric and shirts. His work has been exhibited in the Marblehead Arts Association, Gallery 119 and Mitchel is currently showing at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln MA as part of the 2008 Annual Exhibition. He combines both his printmaking and musical practices to produce contextual works such as Martha Stewart in the Underworld and Mencken's Memorial for the Gods.

Composer and sound artist Andrea Pensado teamed up with digital artist Greg Kowalski in Krakow, Poland, in 1997 to form Qfwfq duo. The duo's main concern has been live sound-image interaction and the use of movement to articulate complex sounds and digital visual material. Their work is highly performatic and often involves the use of sensors and/or motion tracking devices. They moved to the US after having lived 5 years in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
